1. Find a bulk grocery store in your area.

Here is a great compilation of grocery stores in every state! Find one (or a few!) that suit your grocery needs.

2. Buy a set of mason jars/reusable bags!

Mason jars and reusable bags are a must for zero waste shopping! Use jars for things like grains, pastas, nuts, and granola. Make sure to bring an empty jar with you so the cashier can weigh it and zero out their scale! Use produce bags for all your fresh fruit and veggies.

3. Label your jars

Try these compostable labels for your jars so there are no mix-ups!

4. Instead of buying pre-packaged snacks, learn to make some!

Bliss balls, granola bars, muffins, and more!
