(Vegan) Pumpkin Spice Latte Season Is Here and We're Ready
It’s September, or more commonly known as PSL Season. It’s still hot outside (admit it) but it’s never too early for a pumpkin spice latte. Luckily, Peet’s Coffee has our backs this year, with their new seasonal and vegan options!
This autumn, Peet’s is offering a pumpkin latte or dark chocolate pumpkin mocha (be sure to get it with soy or almond milk!) Top it all off with their new vegan whipped cream for an extra special, seasonal treat. If coffee isn’t your thing, try their pumpkin chai latte!
The dairy industry is one of the biggest detriments to the environment and water waste. To put that into numbers:
1 cup of yogurt requires 35 gallons
1 scoop of ice cream requires 42 gallons
2 slices of cheese require 50 gallons
1 cup of Greek yogurt requires 90 gallons
1 stick of butter requires 109 gallons
Whereas a glass of soymilk requires 9 gallons of water.
Conserve water and enjoy your PSL this season!
