Cinnamon buns have to be one of the greatest desserts. When we came across Cinnaholic in Berkeley, CA, we were thrilled; 30+ frostings and toppings, and fresh baked pastries that are customizable.
Cinnaholic is different than the average chain cinnamon bun bakeries; not only can you mix and match icing and topping flavors, such as banana cream and brownie bits, but the bakery aims to help promote positive change for the environment.
Cinnaholic was founded by Shannon Michelle Radke and Florian Radke, both of whom practive vegan lifestyles. Cinnaholic is a product of their dedication to veganism; it's 100% vegan, as well as lactose and cholesterol free. They believe that everyone can contribute to bettering the planet and those who inhabit it (and we do too!!). Opening Cinnaholic and serving vegan cinnamon rolls was a way to make a ethical eating accessible to everyone!
The best part about Cinnaholic is that taste, texture, and variety aren't compromised for vegan ingredients. Even if you aren't vegan, you can still eat and enjoy Cinnaholic pastries. We love this because it normalizes sustainable and ethical eating practices that are accessible and relatable to anyone!
